Our Babies Have Outgrown Us

Just like the children we’ve raised, Suzanne and I are caring for these babies, feeding, nurturing and trying to keep them out of trouble. We make sure our patients are getting home-grown, organic, pesticide-free plant medicine —even if we have to pull off a few caterpillars—but the bigger they get, the harder it is to get them to do exactly what we want. Like stay out of the sun. Drink a lot of water. Take their vitamins. Stop slouching. Growing our own medicine gives us a greater appreciation for the power of nature in all its stages, how resilient she is. And the complex terpenes and cannabinoids that work together for the entourage effect.

There are over 20,000 terpenes that have been discovered and the cannabis plant has more than 100 of them, in particular the anti-inflammatory Myrcene, the anti-fungal, anti-bacterial Limonene, the bronchodilator and antiseptic Pinene, the stress-relieving, anxiety reducing Linalool and Caryophyllene and the anti-bacterial, appetite suppressing Humulene among them.

Suzanne is smelling the Myrcene, Limonene and Caryophyllene in this strain, mangoes, citrus, black pepper and cinnamon - medicinal blessedness.
